The new L-Series cameras from Honeywell are a family of
five cameras that are upgraded from the E Series. These cameras offer crisp
clear images and better low light performance in a smaller housing with lower
power consumption than the E Series. Due to reduced video noise, these cameras
allow longer storage capacity on DVRs. Additionally, the L-Series color and True
Day/Night cameras now have manual shutter speeds, so you can set the camera to
an exact shutter speed—great for more machine vision applications.
The L-Series offers a variety of camera options to fit a wide range of needs,
and gives you an ideal solution for most applications and budgets. Each camera
has unique features and something specific to offer: The black and white cameras
offer a cost effective surveillance solution for object detection and
recognition, and can take advantage of infrared illumination for increased low
light sensitivity. Our color cameras offer a similar benefit for applications in
which object color is required. The True Day/Night camera offers accurate color
video in the daytime and improved low light sensitivity at night by moving the
IR cut filter out of the optical path.
