The HD4D is a high-resolution True Day/Night camera that switches
from color to black and white mode, depending upon available light. The HD4D
uses a removable infrared (IR) cut filter in color mode and an optical low-pass
filter (OLPF) in black and white mode, guaranteeing optimal image quality at any
time of day.
The HD4D incorporates the latest DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
and DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology to produce extremely sharp and
clear images regardless of lighting levels. DNR removes noise artifacts,
increasing the performance of motion detection and typically providing longer
recording durations on digital and network video recorders. Producing 540 TV
lines, the HD4D reproduces sharper images down to the smallest detail with
outstanding accuracy.
The HD4D series consists of two models, HD4D3 (3.3 - 12mm
Vari-focal auto iris lens) and HD4D9 (9 - 22mm Vari-focal auto iris lens), that
cover a wide range of viewing angles. With solid die-cast aluminum and a
scratch-resistant 3.5mm thick polycarbonate dome cover, this unit can withstand
heavy external impacts and is iP66 rated for safe outdoor installations.
The HD4D comes completely assembled for quick, easy installation. it is designed
to mount directly to a ceiling, wall or to a 4S single or double electrical box
using the supplied adapter plate. The unit also comes with a pan/tilt/rotation
mechanism and a second video service cable for simple camera adjustments.
