Honeywell’s HD3U employs the only all-digital technology in the industry –
the Digital Pixel System® (DPS) capture technology. With this technology
thousands of self-adjusting pixels act like individual cameras, eliminating
image-compromising visual noise and delivering the highest resolution, natural
color and clarity, even in challenging lighting conditions.
The HD3U delivers higher quality images, significantly better dynamic range
(120 dB max), and higher frame rates than conventional CCD cameras. The HD3U
also comes with a one-button camera setup lever control to access the on-screen
display menu. Seven wide dynamic presets allow quick and easy setup for various
applications such as ATMs, loading docks, lobbies, and scenes with intense glare
from spotlights or vehicle headlights.
This integrated camera system is loaded with high performance features, and
is a snap to install. With solid polycarbonate housing and a thick clear
polycarbonate dome cover and dome liner, this one-piece, compact surface mount
design allows for fast, easy installation to a ceiling or wall. The 3-D axis
gimbal allows versatile positioning and instant centering of the video image. A
service/monitor cable is also included for easy on-site adjustments.
The HD3U accepts either 12 VDC or 24 VAC (auto sensing) for proper operation
and flexible installation. The cameras come equipped with a 2.8-10.5 mm (F1.2)
aspherical Vari-focal Auto Iris lens to cover a wide range of viewing angles.
Picture adjustment after installation is easy with the 3-D axis gimbal that is
capable of 360° of pan, 180° of tilt and 360° of horizontal rotation.
