
The Honeywell HPTV24 Series multi-output CCTV power supply
delivers constant 24 VAC with 4.0, 8.0 or 16.0 A of current with up to 16
outputs. The power supplies provide individual fused or SmartFused protection
for each output, as well as inherent synchronization to line-locked cameras. The
unit also contains a master ON/OFF switch which controls power to the 24 VAC
output circuits. The switch allows additional convenience during installation or
servicing of cameras. The HPTV24 Series offers superior voltage regulation that
protects cameras and accessories from damage due to power surges and
over-voltage conditions.
Designed for ease-of-installation, the HPTV24 is housed in a
large, vented, hinged enclosure with multiple knockouts. Large terminal screws
allow easy wiring connections using a standard-sized screwdriver. Connection of
incoming AC power is made through a convenient fuse block. This block contains
an easily removed fuse, allowing isolation of incoming AC from the rest of the
unit. The status of the incoming AC, as well as each output, is displayed with
individual LEDs.
Market Opportunities The HPTV24 Series power
supply provides superior performance and value for CCTV installations. The units
are field-expandable to 16 or 32 outputs with optional accessories. Security
systems can be expanded economically as surveillance requirements become more
demanding.
Compared to individual plug-in transformers, a multi-camera power
supply reduces the overall cost of installation and does not tie up multiple
power outlets. In addition, a multi-camera power supply protects equipment from
damage due to power surges, while providing individual fused protection for each
