The HRXDS Series DVR is a high-performance recording system that combines the
benefits of digital recording up to 240/200 ips (NTSC/PAL) with the advanced
processing of a multiplexer. HRXDS features Honeywell’s sophisticated,
proprietary XtraStor compression technology that provides more storage on
smaller media without sacrificing image quality – resulting in days, weeks and
even months of high-resolution video storage.
The HRXDS Series DVR performs advanced processing on video received from 8 or
16 input cameras, allowing customization of timelapse, event, pre-event, and
many other recording parameters necessary to support a wide variety of
surveillance applications. Further options exist to control recording by
schedules, external inputs such as text input, alarm sensors, or configurable
motion detection. This flexibility provides a customized video processing system
for each installation. The HRXDS continues to record during playback, archive,
and remote access sessions. The HRXDS Series provides users with fast and
effective video clip copying and archiving functions via hard disk drives, a
built-in DVD burner, ultra-wide SCSI and USB. The video is copied as clips to
USB sticks or DVD/CD media with a self-extracting video player for efficient
data management. Unique data authentication algorithms check and report
authenticity of recorded video. The HRXDS supports schedule-based automatic
archiving and disk mirroring for convenient data back-up.
HRXDS offers full support for remote access using Remote Administration
Software (RASplus) for remote monitoring of up to 16 DVRs at a time. RASplus is
also used for remote searching of video as well as DVR administrative tasks such
as configuration and software updates from a central site. Networking
capabilities (LAN & ADSL) enable you to operate and manage the system
remotely.
Market Opportunities The advanced feature set of HRXDS,
combined with its high recording rate of up to 240/200 ips, make it ideal to
support a wide variety of surveillance applications including retail and
financial. The text interface allows connection to ATMs and POS terminals. In
law enforcement, the high capture rate of HRXDS supports simultaneous operation
of multiple cameras. Fire-halls, schools, and many other institutions all
benefit from the intuitive user interface that makes it easy to search for video
evidence and then copy the video clips to commonly available media such as DVD,
CD or USB memory sticks. Features
